Daniel began his dance training with Nicole and Rebecca Micallef at the age of ten, training in Jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. Daniel then moved to Alegria Ballet Studios in the heart of Sydney, where he undertook full-time training in classical ballet. Upon completing his course at Alegria, he obtained a scholarship to study at the Miami City Ballet School in Miami, Florida. Daniel furthered his studies at The Washington School of Ballet in Washington, D.C., and was then promoted to the professional company of The Washington Ballet.
Daniel also performed with the Los Angeles Ballet. Notable awards include Gold in Men’s contemporary at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2012, and two-time Helen Hayes Award winner for his portrayal of Edmund in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Recently in 2016, Daniel performed with local Sydney dance company Danza del Arte in La Choreografia, winning the dance award at the Sydney Fringe Festival.
