Rebecca and Nicole Micallef - Principals, Jazz and Showteams
Sisters Rebecca and Nicole Micallef have been dancing together for 24 years. Performing at eisteddfods and choreographing many award winning eisteddfod routines of their own, Rebecca and Nicole wish to enthuse and inspire the dancing generation of today. Over the years, their ground breaking choreography and style has revolutionised and captivated their audience.
Rebecca and Nicole are very involved in all aspects of the studio from being the Principals of the studio and also teaching all the jazz classes, showteams and private lessons.

Sky Bailey - Hip Hop, Contemporary, Junior Acrobatics
Sky began her dance training under the instruction of Barbara Everson at the Australian Dance Performance institute (Brisbane) where she attained a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre. She then furthered her studies at Urban Dance Centre, also graduating with a Certificate IV in Performing Arts in 2008.
Sky’s extensive dance conditioning and experience has provided her with a sound technical base and a diverse stylistic background. Her versatility has allowed her to perform, choreograph and teach across a variety of genres including jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, street latin and afro.
Sky has also performed for Juliette Verne the main choreographer for ‘So You Think You Can Dance Australia’ also Sky is part of Juliette’s company ‘J Foxx Productions’, Performing a Russian Cabaret show around Sydney. Sky has performed for many other choreographers such as Travers Ross and Tiana Canterbury. |

Katie Ripley - Ballet
At 18 Katie completed her formal dance training at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne, Victoria. She was then invited to join the Australian Ballet and danced there for eight years, rising to the rank of Soloist. During this time she danced many Principal roles, including ‘Gamzatti’ La Bayaderre, ‘Ada’ Le Concours and ‘Odette’ Swan Lake Act 2.
Katie transferred to Sydney Dance Company to work with Director/Choreographer Graeme Murphy for five years where he created several works on her. In 2003 Katie was nominated ‘Best Female Dancer’ at the Australian Dance Awards.
Katie has toured extensively with both companies throughout Australia, United States, Asia, Austria, New Zealand and New Caledonia.Katie has worked with numerous coaches and choreographers from around the globe including, Natalia Makarova, Gelsey Kirkland, Cynthia Gregory, Yuri Killian, William Forsyth, Nacho Duato, Stephen Petroneo and Stephen Page.

Michelle Barron - Ballet
Michelle Barron
BA Dance, B Teach (Secondary), LISTD Modern, AISTD Tap
Michelle is a very passionate teacher with an ambitious nature and demonstrates an ability to bring the best out in ALL her students. Michelle has a degree in Dance and Education and is a qualified teacher of the ISTD Tap and Modern Syllabus.
She is currently undertaking the RAD CBTS course. Michelle has been a freelance teacher for 10 years at various studios and schools. Michelle worked as a dancer throughout Australia and Asia. |

Jodie Muir - RAD Ballet
Jodie studied ballet at The Macdonald College of Performing Arts and later finished her training at The Australian Ballet School. During her career, she performed with the Australian Ballet, The Dancers Company and The Premiere State Ballet. The ballets she danced in include Giselle, Graduation Ball, Don Quixote, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, Paquita, Suite in Blanc and many others.
Jodie began teaching in 2003 and attained her RAD teachers certificate in 2005. Since beginning teaching, her students have had many successes including several students gaining a place in the Australian Ballet Schools ITP, high distinctions in all levels examined, awards in the 'Isobelle Anderson Scolarships', solos that have won or placed in the Mcdonald Challenge, and students that have been selected to appear for main roles with the Australian Ballet, such as ‘Clara' in Graham Murphy's 'Nutcracker'.

Roxie Patterson - Acrobatics
Roxie is a very dedicated teacher who shows commitement and time to every student. Her acrobatic teaching skills are of the highest standard achieving the best results for her students.
Roxie has extensive training and experience in jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, modern and acrobatics. She is also trained in singing and acting, having done professional film clips and worked with professionsals such as Todd McKenny.

Chiara Hassos - Tap
Chiara is the first student-turned-teacher at 2 Step and has brought all her training and experience to the aspiring students at the school. Chira has been a passionate teacher for 4 years.
Chiara's dedication rubs off on every student. Her teaching skills are of the highest standard achieving the best results for her students. |
